Sermon

The sermon, yesterday, was about, "Who Do you say I (God) am?"

Some of the highlights of the sermon were:

Does your life reflect who you say He is to you?

Scripture gives only two paths: There is a narrow road and a wide road. There is no third road.

Jesus is Lord and master

Science is a good servant but a terrible master.

new church

Change is sometimes so difficult. After 14 years as a member at the same church, God has called me elsewhere.

This is such a difficult transition and very scary! However, when God calls you to do something, the only thing you need do is obey. He will take care of the rest.

God's plans for all of us are to prosper us and give us a hope and a future. Amazing grace!

Galatians 5:1

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

We have been set free from the power of sin,

What do you crave?

I am rereading a book entitled "Made to Crave."

Lysa Terkeurst says, "God never intended for us to want anything more than we want Him."

She references Psalm 78:18- "They (the Israelites) willfully put God to the test by demanding the food they craved."

As a result, except for Joshua and Caleb, the Israelites never reached the promise land. They wandered the desert for 40 years, because they willfully put God to the test over food!

Sam and the Storm

The storm last night was crazy. My precious dog Sam was SOOO scared so I made a fort for him. I put his canopy bed on top of my bed and surrounded his bed with pillows and blankets. He felt safe because the fort protected him from the big bad storm!! Lol!
